Benfothiamine is a lab-created version of thiamine (vitamin B1). The body absorbs it better than natural B1. The body changes benfothiamine to thiamine. Thiamine is an essential micronutrient that helps the body produce proteins and fats while helping to metabolize carbohydrates. Vitamin B1 also helps the body by converting energy from food to fuel for the cardiovascular and nervous systems, thereby supporting the heart, brain, and nerves. Low thiamine can lead to nerve, heart, and brain conditions. Benfothiamine can boost thiamin levels and help prevent these effects.

Indications:

Benfothiamine may assist with:

  • Diabetic neuropathy.
  • Cognitive decline.
