Nystatin is an FDA approved antimycotic polyene antibiotic obtained from Streptomyces noursei. It's used to treat or prevent infections caused by a fungus (or yeast). Nystatin is both fungistatic and fungicidal in vitro against a wide variety of yeasts and yeast-like fungi. Nystatin acts by binding to sterols in the cell membrane of susceptible Candida species with a resultant change in membrane permeability allowing leakage of intracellular components.

Indications:

  • Treats fungal or yeast infections in the stomach and intestines.
  • Oral thrush.
  • Candidiasis.

 

    Recommended Use

    Take as prescribed by your healthcare practitioner.

    Ingredients

    Active ingredients per capsule:

    • Nystatin 100 000iu. 
    • Nystatin 200 000iu.   
    • Nystatin 500 000iu.

    Other: Organic brown rice flour.
